I definitely reccomend My Homegrown Symphony!

I have known Sonja for several years, she was one of my conductors when I sang in the Pacific Mennonite Children’s Choir as a child. I’ve always looked up to her as a role model and influence in my life, especially in music! So, when I first learned about her newest musical venture a couple of years ago, I was very excited to get my hands on a copy of each of her books.

For the last many years, I have been a Babysitter & Nanny for several families, with children of all ages. I love that these curriculum books have activities I can bring with me wherever I go. I look forward to teaching the kids I look after and my children one day all about music with these incredible resources!

I now own all three of her books; Prelude, Conversations with Composers & Step into Singing. Sonja’s books are beautifully organized into easy-to-grasp sections and are full of countless reading & listening suggestions. Each lesson is flexible depending on your child’s age and attention span. The QR codes found throughout are a wonderful touch as they make the books interactive and fun! I definitely recommend My Homegrown Symphony!!
